Amtel-Kuzbass

Amtel-Kuzbass (Amtel-Kuzbass Chemical Fibre Plant in Kemerovo) is one of the leading Russian producers of polyamide fibres, polyamide, and cord fabric used by the industry as a carcass in tire casings.

The Amtel-Kuzbass plants annual available production capacity is 33,600 tonnes of chemical fibre. The plants wide range of cord fabrics is distributed throughout Russia and the CIS countries. Polyamide, produced in the plant and used in the production of plastic and synthetic thread, has been supplied to the Chinese market since 2004.

In December 2001, Amtel-Kuzbass became the first Russian producer of polyamide fibre to receive the ISO 9001:2000 certificate.

The industrial thread produced at the plant is used in the manufacture of industrial fibres for the rubber and fishing industries whilst the textile thread is distributed in the consumer goods market. The American-Eurasian Chamber of Commerce awarded Amtel-Kuzbass with a medal and a diploma “For High Quality of Production”.

The enterprise became part of the Group in 2001.
