Amtel-Povolzhe

The development of Amtel-Povolzhe Tire Plant in Kirov is one of the most dynamic in the Russian tire industry. The Plant became a part of the Amtel-Vredestein Group in 2003. The majority of products manufactured at the plant is used as parts for cars produced at the Gorky, Volga and Ulyanov automobile factories, vehicles produced by the Arzamas Engineering Plant, and for PAZ buses. The remainder is sold by a market wholesale chain.

The Group invested EUR 40 million to modernize its facilities in order to enable premium-class Vredestein tire production. In September 2005, the Group launched production of Vredestein tires; the technology and specifications of these tires are fully compliant with the original standards.

Amtel-Povolzhe holds a permanent supply contract with GM-AvtoVAZ and KIA.

Amtel-Povolzhe was the first Russian tire plant to receive ISO 9901 certification.
