Andrey Makov

Deputy General Director, Director — Legal Issues

Andrey Makov was born on January 26th 1965 in Samara. In 1986 he graduated with honours from the International Law Department of Moscow State Institute of International Relations. From 1986 till 1995 Andrey served as a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, being promoted from Assistant in the African Department to Second Secretary of the Embassy in the Republic of South Africa. In 1995 he joined the company Juris in Moscow, where he rose to be Managing Director. From 2001 till 2003 he was Head of Legal Department of the company Cargill. In 2003 he took charge of the Legal Department of Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia. In the same year he moved to the Istok Group of Companies Group as Director of the Legal Department and in December 2004 he was appointed Director of the Moscow Representative Office of the Group.

Since 2005 Mr Makov has been Deputy General Director of Amtel-Vredestein Group.
